As the world moves towards legalizing cannabis and decriminalizing psychedelic therapy, the healing potential of plant and fungal medicine is gaining recognition. In this roundtable discussion, we center Black women healers who work with plant medicine to heal their communities. Drawing upon African Diasporic sacred principles of ecology and herbalist pharmacopic traditions, these healers show us how to embrace the curing wisdom of plants and fungi as a birthright of the Black community.
